Wal-Mart is advertising in Vogue and Elle?

I scour over both of those publications along with several others and I have yet to notice an advertisement for Wal-Mart.

But according to the Wall Street Journal it’s true. That isn’t all the article is reporting though.  It seems stores like Sephora and even Ulta, have opened the doors for Duane Reade and CVS carrying higher end brands.

The hope is the more women will flock to drugstores, like CVS and Duane Reade for makeovers and get this, eyebrow piercings.

This recession is no joke.

Would you go to CVS to pick up a lipstick, aspirin and get an eyebrow waxing? I don’t know if I could.
