29 Jun How Much Do You Think You Spend On Shoes?
I just wrote an article for The Blay Report reporting that the average woman will spend about $20,000 on shoes in her lifetime. I thought that could quite possibly be true, until they actually broke down the figures.
“The survey of 3,000 women by GoCompare.com shoes that the average women has about 19 pairs of shoes. Really?! 3 pairs of heels, 6 pairs of flip flops, sandals, ballet flats or wedges, 3 pairs of boots, 4 pairs of shoes for a night out, and a random pair of shoes.” Apparently the study also found that women spend about $54 dollars on a pair of shoes, and buy about 7 pairs of shoes a year.
So, I’m wondering… who the heck are these women? Because 19 pairs of shoes is unrealistic. Well, perhaps to me. Is it just me? I definitely have more than 3 pairs of boots, 3 pairs of heels and wayyy more than 6 pairs of flip-flops or ballet flats.
What about you? Do you think this logic sounds about right?
