I am really enjoying my time at Banana Republic. In addition to becoming a better shopper (I won’t ever hang something wrong or in the wrong place again) I feel like I am becoming a more effective fashion writer.
Working with the clothing is teaching me difference fabrics, cuts, styles, terms and I get to see the trends every single day. The funny thing is I am learning a lot from watching the customers in the fitting room.
I am learning a lot about areas that women want to mask or emphasize. It’s not just women, I had a man ask me if he thought his butt looked big because of the pocket placement on the jeans!
I also like the seeing the same article of clothing on different people with different styles.
It has been a pleasant experience so far and I am enjoying it (and the discount!).
