Cleopatra, the last queen of Egypt, used to write health and beauty articles. Can you imagine? She was well versed in cosmetics as well as ruling with a jeweled fist.

Oh, and did you know that Cleopatra used to line her eyes in black to protect them for the sun? I guess that was her line of defense against crow’s feet.

My family and I ventured to Philly this weekend to see the Cleopatra: The Last Queen of Egypt exhibit at the Franklin Institute. Oh, and speaking of ruling with a jeweled fist. Miss Thang had a lot of really extravagant jewelry. That’s to be expected for a queen though right?

Speaking of my brother, this kid tried to teach himself to use chopsticks at P.F Changs. So funny! And too keep it fashion related, I picked out his polo ;-).

After what seemed like fifty-lven hours, he got it. But the victory was short lived. He went back to using a fork.
