When I tell my (future!) kids about my childhood, they are probably going to turn their noses up, and say: ‘Oh, Mom, you’re so old fashioned.’ Of course my childhood is going to seem outdated when kids these days come out of the womb knowing how to navigate iPads.

Which is probably why Claire’s revamped their website to include bloggers! Yes, bloggers!

Can you imagine? When I was like 14, or er, 21, shopping at Clarie’s they were never this high-tech, and they especially didn’t have bloggers!

The girls are 15-17 and they each write their own column for the site as well as post videos and tweet all the latest goings-on in their lives. The nice thing about the site being so interactive is that it creates a form of girl talk.

Claries fan’s will be able to comment on the blogger’s posts as well as share posts, comments and questions through the site’s social media filter, The Buzz.

If you know any teenagers who would love to do this, have them submit a video and info about their style to the site for future consideration.

I would have LOVED to do this! Kids these days don’t know how good they have it.
