I’m late, I know.

My apologies.

I know by now that you all have probably seen the brown puppet on Sesame Street singing, “I Love My Hair.”

The first time I heard it, I couldn’t stop smiling. I still feel like that now, days after my friend first showed me the video. I can’t stop smiling. I just love this song and I wish I had had something like this to bop along to when I was a little girl.

I saw some controversy online, that some bloggers when upset that it was a puppet and not a little girl singing the song.

I say the message needs to be said, and whether it is a puppet or an actual brown girl, I love it.
