08 Nov Tried and Tested: MAC Nicki Minaj’s Pink 4 Friday Lipstick
Finally, the clocked strikes 12 o’clock and I furiously click like a fool to make sure I was able to get all 3 lipsticks (one for my mom, bff, and I) checked out safely. I did and couldn’t wait until they got here. For those of you who laughed, check the time on this screen shot, the lipstick was sold out at 12:27am. It was that serious.
The lipstick arrived on Tuesday and is a bright as I imagined. Fluorescent, actually. It’s kind of intimidating to wear. I would advise that you exfoliate your lips before applying. Add a lip liner to give your lips some definition. You will definitely need a gloss of some sort over it (I chose MAC’s Resort Life lipgelee).

I am not sure that I would wear this out in public. For one, I don’t want to look like I was eating a donut (because it’s so dry that’s how it looks). Next, it’s just way too dry, I need some gloss over top. Lastly, I have warm undertones and this lipstick is cool toned. I need a little something to warm it up.
