Ladies, You Nailed It at MichelleOBrunch

On Sunday, I braved the cold and rain to venture into Brooklyn, (my first time and I only got lost once!) for brunch with some fabulous, accomplished and inspiring ladies.

When I received my invitation to the MichelleOBrunch, I was so excited. How did they find me I wondered? When I arrived, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but all of the ladies were so nice, and welcoming plus they passed along several gems of knowledge.

I was trying not to be so clothes-minded (ha!) but I couldn’t help but notice all the ladies great sense of style. I just wish I had taken more pictures, including of my own outfit (gold sequin skirt, black tights, shirt, and black patent leather double strap Mary Janes). I didn’t have time before I left, and I didn’t after because after journeying through the rain, my hair looked a HOT mess.

I did however take one picture of a lady who I bonded with over nail polish. She complimented me on my Burlesque Sparkle-icious mani, and I couldn’t help but notice hers. Corrine was wearing NARS Zulu. This is the stuff of legend. NARS Zulu sold out so quickly and was so hard to find, it was released. Miss Corrine searched high and low for this baby, and it is all the way worth it. It was the perfect consistency of dark green jelly and shine.

Mani aside, (Hey! This is a fashion/beauty blog, what did you expect?!) I am grateful for the learning experience and thankful that the ladies thought I would benefit from being there. I did! Thanks Aliah for the invite!
