Friend Friday: Authenticity

2. When it comes to your blog how to you infuse it with that true/ 
authentic feeling? 
Well I would like to think that my blog’s premise of following my heart to NYC makes me authentic as I am opening myself up for all sorts of things. I really hope that me sharing my struggles (if you can call them that) and journey as a freelance journalist makes me relatable. Plus, I write my posts the way I would speak in real life.

3. Have you stopped following a blog in the last three months? What 
made you lose interest? 


I have stopped following a blog, I check back occasionally but not nearly the frequency which I used too. I kind of, felt like the blogger wasn’t relatable. She was posting pics of her in all these fantastic outfits all the time, and while that was cool, I missed the posts where her personality shined through.

4. We can’t communicate effectively on our blogs, something we don’t 
live in real life… what are some ways you try to live an authentic 
life? 

I am super passionate in everything I do. If you know me, you know what I mean, my voice raises the more excited I get. Whether it’s blogging, arguing, getting dressed, I have never been the most practical person but that tends to happen when you are passionate about things. Did that answer the question?

and why?

I think Arianna’s View From The 36th Floor is pretty true to how she is in person. Always thinking and sparking thought provoking discussion. You should check it out!
