When I was younger, I somehow always ended up with the task of making sure my family enters into the world looking like their best-dressed-self. Today, nothing has changed.

I helped my parents get dressed for their annual Black Tie gala, which is more than just picking out clothes and accessories. I tied bowties, got my moms legs to shine, applied her makeup and false lashes, adjusted cummerbunds, filled goodies bags and checked hotel reservations.

That Channing, man, she does it all.

But the work was worth it, if I may say so myself.  I present my parents– styled by yours truly.

My mother could not seem to grasp the concept of a jail pose, even after I demonstrated it for her. This was best she could do.
