Cushnie et Ochs was my first show during New York Fashion Week, I was excited to see what the designers would do because I loved the models looks during the Fall 2012 show back in February.

This year didn’t disappoint. Makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury worked with MAC to create the look to compliment the clothing shown on the runway. She was inspired by, “Festival Barbie… skin should look fresh… Imagine Barbie at Glastonbury.”

Here’s how to recreate the look. All products are MAC:

On The Face:

Studio Sculpt SPF 15 Foundation- applied only where needed, skin should look freshPrep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder- applied through the center on the face for a polished finishLadyblush Creamblend Blush- blended over the center of the cheeks for a flushed appearance

On The Eyes:
MAC Pro Dark  Brown Cream Colour Base- diffused over the eyelids for a halo effect
Smolder Eye Kohl- applied in a thin a line above the upper lashes and winged outward to elongate eyes
Coffee Eye Pencil- applied through the waterline of lower lashes and smudged through with a bit of MAC Pro Dark Brown Cream Colour Base to intensify
MAC Pro MAC Gloss Texture- blended with MAC Pro Dark Cream Colour Base over upper eyelids for added sheen
MAC Lashes- applied over curled lashes and through lower lashes for an open-eye effect
On The Lips:
Lip Conditioner SPF 15- applied over lips to hydrate and perfect
Boldly Bare Lip Pencil- blended over the entire lip

Now, onto the nails…

Celebrity manicurist Pattie Yankee worked on the models nails to create the most natural looking nude I have ever seen.

Pattie worked with designers Carly and Michelle to create a “flesh extension” look.  Pattie used a base of Dashing Diva’s Mr. Right polish mixed with mineral makeup to match each model’s skin tone perfectly.  The designers chose an extended, sharp, oval shaped nail.

I love the natural look on the face and nails, perfect way to not take away the focus from the beautiful clothing.
