Thierry Mugler is so out of this world to me. Especially now that Lady Gaga’s bestie Nicola Formichetti has taken the reigns as Creative Director. Those costumes designed for Beyonce’s I Am Sasha Firece tour? Mesmerizing.

You know what else is mesmerizing? Thierry Mugler’s array of perfumes. Especially Angel ravamped: Angel Eau de Toilette.

So of course I had to wrap myself in a mist of magic that is Angel Eau de Toilette. How could I not? Wait until you see the bottle.

It looks like a shooting star, right?

I have to say, I was nervous to give this a whiff. The original Angel was way too strong for me and when it dried down, it smelled like old school hair grease. Not a fan.

But this Angel Eau de Toilette is lighter and agrees so much better with my chemistry.

Sephora describes (because I stink at it) the scent as, “The uniqueness of Angel, reinterpreted. Like the original fragrance, this unique oriental-gourmand comes to life with an addictive scent. It features the same carnal sensuality, yet it’s more subtly provocative, rounded, and finely nuanced.”

The top notes are (again according to Sephora): Bergamot, Patchouli, Vanilla, Cedar, White Musk, Peppery Pink Berries, and Candied Praline.

Smells good, looks good! I love it and a couple of spritz last all day on me. Doesn’t the bottle look like it could belong in a curo cabinet?

Next time you’re in Sephora, give it a whiff. You won’t be disappointed.
