Last night, while taking a break from writing, I watched Beyonce’s video (you can watch below) for I Was Here.

Let me tell you, it was so inspiring and I lost it when she showed her wedding dress (at 3:36). I love that Beyonce is so driven and still committed to her relationship.Who says you can’t have it all?

I’ll be 25 in February and I’ve been thinking a lot about my goals for next year and beyond. While I have small goals I’d like to check off in terms of my career and personal growth, these are definitely 7 things I would like to do before I die.

Obviously, this list is subject to grow but in no particular order I would like to:

• Write a book. A style book specifically.
• Visit to Paris during Fashion Week. And buy something Chanel.
• Live in New York– alone.
• Discuss style trends during a morning news show
• Feel, as Carrie Bradshaw would say, “Real love. Ridiculous, inconvenient, consuming, can’t-live-without-each-other love. And he feels it too.
• Create a program for underprivileged girls to teach the importance of etiquette, manners, taking care of not just your appearance but the inside too. Basically, I don’t want girls to go looking for affection/attention in the wrong place: find it in yourself. Then it will be easier to spot your complement.
• Train for and complete a marathon
