And he was actually present, too. He has more common sense than most people my age (but than again, common sense ain’t so common). I loved listening to his stories about how he met his wife and all the traveling they used to do.

Even more so, I loved the house. His wife’s parents owned a boarding house in the early 1900s. Literally minutes from the White House, where he lives now.

Don’t you just love old people? Did anyone else noticed when people get a certain age they lose their filter? Isn’t it refreshing to hear someone speak candidly for once?
