Perfectly Polished: Revlon’s Whimsical

Perfectly Polished: Revlon’s Whimsical

Ok, so I don’t have to have makeup on when I leave the house. But I do like to accessories on. At least earrings.

Yesterday, I managed to leave the house feeling completely naked. I mean, I was fully clothed but I didn’t have anything on my face (‘cept SPF) and I wasn’t wearing any jewelry.

Gasp.

What saved me? Throwing on oversized sunnies and my nails. Revlon couldn’t have picked a better name: Whimsical.

It is indeed that. Like cotton candy with sprinkles. Very ‘Let Them Eat Cake.

Whimsical is a feminine polish, sweet and girly. It has a jelly consistency with pink and baby sequins and microglitter suspended in a milky, faint blue base.

Le sigh.

If the color looks familiar, it’s a dupe for Deborah Lippmann’s Glitter In The Air. And we all know that Revlon is great for higher end knock-offs.

It’s so light and airy, isn’t it?

Because I’m weird and like wearing opposites together, this polish just screamed for something NOT girly. Like a black maxi and a leopard scarf. Oh, and the neon bag, can’t forget that.

What do you think of Whimsical? What’s on your nails right now?

And please don’t judge my no makeup face, I was going to get a facial.
