This might be the cutest thing ever. Katonia’s mom and husband are throwing her a surprise party for her 40th birthday. She wants to know what she can wear to her party that would allow her to be the center of attention. As she should be, since it is her day after all.

Katonia told me that the party has a black and white theme and she likes to shop at Express or whatever else she can find at the Kenwood Mall. So, I did a bit of sleuthing to see what other stores she could pop into find something for the parrrtay. All of the suggestions are from Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, LOFT, and J.Crew.

I think a wrap or shift dress with statement jewelry with work well with her body type-5’3, size 12–for the occasion. What do you think? In a bold color, so she isn’t lost in the sea of black and white.
