Dot, Dot, Dot

Dot, Dot, Dot

I just love how little whimsical details can make even the most mundane outfit look fun. Like now, blah looking day, blah looking colors. Though the INC ruffle faux leather jacket and RACHEL Rachel Roy sweatshirt dress are really cute and comfy at the same time. When I looked at myself in the mirror I was had the following thoughts:

You hair looks good, that dress is going to be perfect when you really don’t feel like getting dressed, so comfy without being sloppy…OH HAI, TIGHTS… aren’t you fun… what’s that on your flats, rhinestone studs?? Check you outttt.

I like wearing a bunch of the same thing that don’t necessarily ‘go’ with it each other. Like the Olivia + Joy ‘Black Dot’ handbag, HUE Glitter Polka Dot tights and INC Gale Smoking Flats.

Cutesy, right?

I never really thought I was bold enough to mix prints but I seem to do it quite often, very subtly.

Dot, dot, dot. What do you think about wearing polka dots or dots in general as an adult?

You are so cute, Channing! You know I love mixing prints, so I am all over this outfit.

p.s. I am SUCH a loser. I have been meaning to mail you a thank you card for the cute purse hook you sent me. I looooooove it, and carry it with me everywhere…My grandma would be proud, since she always gets on my case about putting my bag on the floor. Lol.

Thank you, Eboni! I can totally see you wearing these tights with a mini skirt.

Aw! You’re welcome! No worries, I figured you were busy taking over Atlanta :-p And I’m with your grandma, no bags on the floor! Glad to see it’s coming in handy 🙂

I am SO here for this comfy, chic look, BUT *points like a little kid who has just seen Mickey Mouse for the first time* THE NECKLACE, THE NECKLACE! I don’t know if I missed it somehow, but YES, you got the cute little nameplate necklace!

I’m loving the new site, Chan. So very proud of you, honey. Trust the process. 🙂

Thank you, Bri!! I think this is the first time that it’s really been visible on the blog. I really like it, it’s from Bauble Bar and it’s the acrylic one, which made the name look at 3D, it’s hard to explain but I thought I’d find it childish, instead I’m layering it with EVERYTHING.

Thank you, Bri. It means a lot 🙂 And for the encouragement along the way. We’ll just keep trusting the process 🙂

I love dots on clothes. I usually prefer the teeny ones but in this case, the bigger ones on tights look great and i love the shade of your tights too. Very cute!

Thanks, Taliah! I really like the size of the dots on the tights, too. I feel like a little girl. But in a good way, lol.
