You and I, we have a pretty good relationship wouldn’t you say?

I keep having a reoccurring thought. How many of yall would think I’m crazy if you knew all that goes into this blog. And how much of my day revolves around it. Last week, I had to get up at 6:30am to try and take pictures before leaving for work so I could have a post up that day. On Tuesday, I was really excited that I got home before the sun when down. Not because it was nice seeing my neighborhood well lit for the first time, really but because I could take outfit pictures.

We won’t even get on the fact that I’m still working up the courage to take pictures in my neighborhood because the last time I did it, people acted like they never saw a tripod before. But I admit, it might seem a little vain to someone who fully doesn’t understand the process. And I get that, I do.

Then they’re times that all you can do is laugh. For every 4 pictures, there is at least one of the following: the sun is messing with your lighting, your eyes are shut, or your hair is blowing in your face, or you look just plain awkward.

My personal favorite is the unintentional photo bomb. We’re getting new windows in my building and the men start working at like 8am, and insome of my pictures you can see them setting up shop on the scaffold–one even caught me taking pictures of myself on the balcony. I wanted to dive back in the window but then, I wouldn’t have gotten a post up. Such is life for a blogger.

I’m waiting for the first blogger based reality show. Did you guys watch The Gossip Game on VH1 on Monday? What did you think? I really like Angela Yee and JasFly, I’m excited to see them at work on this show. Would you watch a show that gave a behind the scenes look at blogging?
