What's that quote, when you conspire the world conspires with you? You know the one I mean? 

I finally made up my mind about something and I absolutely love that this entire weekend confirmed I made the best decision. 

And I have a new look to match my mindset thanks to Nordstrom's Fall Cosmetic Trend Show. 

Nordstrom brings global makeup artists from the leading makeup brands carried in the store to show off the latest and greatest innovations in makeup trends for the current season. There are tons of giveaways (my mother and I each won something!) and you somehow leave making friends with the ladies around you. 

I love that the show is hosted by Nordstrom's Northeast Regional Beauty Director Tawni Hart. She has the cutest personality and always looks beautiful. She has the best job on earth, this woman.

After the show you have a chance to book an appointment with the makeup brand of your choice to get your face beat and my mother and I chose Laura Mercier.

Thank God, we did!

Jarvis Johnson, a global makeup artist for Laura Mercier assisted the makeup artists working on my mother and I giving amazing advice in between. 

It was the weirdest thing he doesn't know me from the next tiny gal but the things that he said to me were aligned with the decision I mentioned earlier. He's a makeup artist and therapist all wrapped up in a finely tailored suit.

He has definitely converted me to a Laura Mericier fan! Expect a few reviews from the brand and the new products I'm loving :)
