Give the People What They Want

Give the People What They Want

So the people (who leave comments anyway) have spoken. They would like to know about dry shampoo, leggings and my top ten mascaras.

So let’s give the people what they want.

I talk all about dry shampoo: my likes, dislikes, and everything else you could want to know… in my next centric beauty vlog. My Centric Beauty Minute videos go live on Wednesdays on centrictv.com. So stay tuned for that 🙂

On to the leggings, so I have a wonderfully informative article for the examiner that I will post Sunday night. There you will be able to get the skinny on this trendy piece.

What a tease right?! :-p

Just so you don’t feel like I led you on I do have my top 10 mascaras… of the moment.  As I mentioned in a previous post, I am always trying the latest and greatest when it comes to mascara, so in a couple months or even weeks it might be different. Maybe not though, a few of these have been around for quite some time now. Click Read More to see the actual list with links to each mascara.

And we’re offffff (these are in no particular order):

1.     L’Oreal Voluminous gives instant drama. It thickens and lengthens. Plus whenever I combine it with another mascara, it gives me the falsie look.

2.   Smashbox Lash DNA is the business. Except, the brush is so big I always get it everywhere. This is very black, lengthens and makes my lashes thick. All in one coat.

3.    L’Oreal Telescopic Explosion is the knockoff Givenchy Phenon Eyes Mascara. I really like it because the little spiky ball helps get every single eyelash.

4.   Urban Decay Skyscraper mascara lengthens literally makes my eyelashes touch the bottom on my eyebrow. No joke.

5.   L’Oreal Collagen mascara is to my eyelashes what collagen is to a thin lipped person.

6.   Diorshow is such a treat for me. I rarely buy it for myself, but I give it to one of my best friends as a part of her present every time we give gifts. It’s THAT good.

7.  CoverGirl Lash Blast is worth all the hype, and not like the Great Lash hype either. Because that stuff is not even good. Lash Blast though? It deserves all the hype.

8.   Hourglass Superficial Lash is sooty black and gives my eyelashes curl like you wouldn’t believe.

9.   Korres Abyssinia Oil Mascara lengthens more than it volumizes but it gets the job done.

10.  Sephora Lash Plumper I really like to use on the top of my eyelashes because the tiny wand doesn’t make a mess.

This is my top 10; I use some variation of these every time I put on mascara. Usually one on the top and a different one on the bottom.  I didn’t realize I was such a fan of L’Oreal mascara. A little birdie told me that L’Oreal and Lancôme mascaras are made in the same factory so maybe that’s why. If you’re on a budget I would definitely recommend a L’Oreal mascara.
