Perfectly Polished: Milani Jewel Fx in Gold

No seriously! In the short time I wore this, I got so many compliments on it! I did them Thursday and on Saturday, I debuted them at my lunch with my Blay family in New York.

The train conductor, the girl behind the ticket counter in Penn Station who had me write the name of the polish down for her, and Zandile, who called them drag queen nails.

That’s a compliment by the way.

I applied two coats of Orly Luxe and then I clumped on two coats of Milani Jewel Fx in Gold.

The results? A sequined mani that gave off the same mirror shine as Minx nails.

But, because I was wearing like 6 (basecoat, 4 coats of polish, two separate topcoats) layers of polish, it was sooo thick that I knew it would be a joy to pick off. I just knew it, and the only thing saving this polish, was the fact that I was in public.

But once I was on the train coming home, it was over for that nail polish!

I know that was super tacky of me! I’m sorry Mom!

I think I want to try this again without the Gold underneath so it will be less thick and tempting to pick it off.
