Perfectly Polished: Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetic Tattoo

When I attended The Makeup Show New York, one of the brands I made sure to go find out about was Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics (OCC). Boy, am I glad I did. I had heard all about the Lip Tars, so I knew those were amazing, but I didn’t know that the nail polish would be too.

Tattoo caught my eye. It was murky, mysterious, and according to OCC’s website, “A faded greenish black, tattoo-tone.”

I needed it.

Isn’t it purty? I loved that it was so grungy when paired with spring dresses for a rock and roll feel.

As for the claim that it is the tone of tattoo ink, I borrowed That Boy’s arm to see how close the color was to his tattoos.

Not to shabby, eh? I really like this color, a lot. It’s so unexpected in a sea full of brights for spring.
