Let me tell you about the relationship I have with my bangs: I love them when they are first trimmed but as they start to grow out, I’m like I want something different. Bangs are childish.

Then I see them done right and I’m like, ‘Oh, I want them back. I don’t want to grow them out.’

Tonight’s MTV Video Music Awards was one of those times. First I saw pictures of Kelly Rowland looking all the way amazing in her bangs.

Doesn’t she look gorgeous? Then every time the camera cut to Jessie J singing with her sharp hair cut, I couldn’t take my eyes off of her.

But by far my favorite look of the night? The way Jay-Z looked at his wife as she rubbed her pregnant belly.
