I might have told you I’m a product junkie, no? I never seem to be able to have enough mascaras, nail polish or lipgloss. I’m always looking for something new to try, so I was excited to learn about Heidi D. Cosmetics and ‘The Bossy Collection.’The woman behind Heidi D. Cosmetics– Heidi Denha-Herfy– is a makeup artist who “blends inspiration from the colour,  energy and rhythm of the mid-west with a passion for high-quality, high-performance pigments, micas and bases.”

In 2000, she created a brand “that delivers photo-shoot perfection with the power to stay fabulous wherever your day takes you.”And where did my day take me? To test out two of Heidi D.’s gloss from The Bossy Collection!There are 20 glosses in collection of lipgloss that come in a variety of ‘girly’ colors like pinks, reds, peaches and nudes. Heidi only creates colors that she would actually wear.
My favorite thing about the glosses? They have the pigmentation of a lipstick with the sheen of a gloss. Plus the glosses are loaded with Vitamin E to keep your lips soft and supple. Heidi’s tagline is “Start everyday with a kiss,” after all.  :-p

Highschool Sweetheart is the lighter of the two shades that I tried. It is a milky nude color that reminds me of MAC’s Viva Glam Gaga 2 with really good staying power.

Miss Mocha is a brown nude shade that looks like my lips but better. It will be perfect for the Fall.The glosses are currently available for $17. I can’t lie at first the price seemed a bit steep but the gloss is huge. You definitely get a ton of product for your money.
