Perfectly Polished: Chanel Provaction

Perfectly Polished: Chanel Provaction

You guys are probably on to me by now. First there was OPI’s We’ll Always Have Paris. I wore that basically for a whole month.

Then there was Essie Skirting The Issue. Still love it.

And now?

Chanel’s Provocation. She’s beeeautiful.

It’s obvious now that I have a bit of a problem. I keep switching polish and putting what looks to be the same polish on.

But it isn’t. There are fine differences in them all. We’ll Always Have Paris is nice, gorgeous color but goopy and I need three coats. It has to be thinned out constantly. You see how that could be annoying.

Skirting The Issue is really pretty. More red than purple undertones and dries down to look like jelly. I like it. But I need three coats. You have to be careful or the dreaded air bubbles surface.

Chanel Provocation, though? Sorry fellas. This baby’s my number one. Opaque in two coats. Creamy formula. Purple undertones. Complements my Black Plum lipstick.

Check.

What do you look for when choosing a nail polish favorite? My thought process here might be a bit excessive but I know that you all understand. Right?

p.s. The guest post I did for The B Stinger is on Lucky magazine’s website and I would appreciate it if you would vote for it :)) Click here.
