Two Saturdays was one of those great New York moments, that I used to read about. Or see on Sex and the City. I brought together old friends, made new ones and all for Sauza de Blogo.

What?

Sauza de Blogo. Sauza Tequila tasked me with planning the perfect girls night in, and obviously, I would want to include my girls. My roommate was down for the cause and invited a few of her girls. I provided the snacks and most importantly, Sauza Blue and magic happened.

We sung Selena songs, actually had a pretty  game of charades, my team Drunkards in Gold Coats–wait can I tell you a story? This one time in college, I had this crush on this boy, and I wanted to see him, but I had been out having a good time and I looked like it (i.e. hot mess). And when I told my friend I didn’t want him to see me like this, her response? But you are a drunkard. In a gold coat.

7 years later and what do you know? Once a drunkard in a gold (Rocawear, at that) coat, always a drunkard in a gold coat. Speaking of friends who knew you when you were, one of my friends from elementary school came. And there was none of that awkward small talk. We jumped right in as if I just saw her yesterday. She and her friend joined in our game of charades–ah, right! That’s where I left off. The Drunkards in Gold Coats lost by one point to Kevin & Co. But speaking of Kevin…

Would you judge us if you knew we had story time? And he led the pack?

When the snacks ran out and we decided to go to dinner for real food, on the way out the door, we notice that there was a bit of Sauza left in one of the bottles. Arianna and I decide to shot that back. Like we’re in college or something. Drunkards in gold coats, strike again. Her boyfriend divvied it up equally, and we knocked those back like we were, er, 21 again.

It was a really fun day. And while I would like to take the credit for getting together such a fun, awesome group of girls (and guy!) and I think the real star of the day were the sauna-ritas. A mix of Sauza Blue, light beer–I chose margarita flavored, and Fresca with limes and oranges added to cocktail. Sauza de Blogo is making me reallly excited for Cinco de Mayo. I have to say.

Oh, and thank you, Pinterest–your suggestion of orange peels and cinnamon made the apartment smell lovely. What are some of your best party-planning tips?
