‘Why Don’t You’ is my weekly tribute to legendary editor Diana Vreeland who penned a column of the same name for Harper’s Bazaar for 26 years begging, “Don’t just be your ordinary dull self. Why don’t you be ingenious and make yourself into something else?”

Everything old is new again.

That old adage is going to turn me into a hoarder.

I’m already having a hard enough time developing some sort of minimalistic but with fur and glitter feng shu situation in my tiny studio apartment without realizing that embellished jeans, like what I wore in the 6^th grade, are making a comeback.

How am I ever going to be able to donate anything to Goodwill now?

Have you seen those pictures of Rihanna courtside wearing a pair of embellished jeans? I saw them and felt a slight familiar tinge, like, I would rock the heck out those jeans.

June Ambrose wore the same Ashish Embellished & Destroyed Denim Jeans with a pair of heels.

Eva Chen wore some.

Is this trend officially back? Would you wear it? Am  I crazy for wanting to wear a pair with a cropped sweater and heels?
